My journey into real estate began in 2007 when I first set foot on the enchanting island of Zanzibar. The white sand beaches and azure waters captivated me, and I knew I had found a special place. In 2010, I made the life-changing decision to emigrate from Denmark and become a permanent resident of the United Republic of Tanzania.
With a deep appreciation for the local culture and fluency in Kiswahili, I have fully integrated into the Zanzibari community. My profound understanding of the island and its people has been instrumental in shaping ZanziPalms into a leading real estate firm. Our goal is to offer unparalleled service, ensuring that our clients find and create their perfect property in this paradise.
Hon. Suleiman Masoud Makame is a Partner at Zanzipalms Real Estate and a prominent leader in Zanzibar’s legal and public service sectors. He currently serves as the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock of Zanzibar and is a Member of Parliament representing Pemba.
Holding an LL.B. from Zanzibar University and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from Mzumbe University, Hon. Makame brings extensive experience in legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and institutional leadership. His professional journey includes senior roles within the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards, and the Zanzibar Maritime Authority.

Daksh Paloda is the Legal Advisor at Zanzipalms Real Estate, overseeing the legal and regulatory aspects of the company’s real estate and investment activities in Zanzibar.
An Advocate by profession, Daksh is qualified in Indian law and has significant experience in commercial transactions and real estate documentation. At Zanzipalms, he is closely involved in structuring transactions, drafting agreements, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with Zanzibar’s land and investment laws.
