A private tropical retreat near the beach
This resort for rent in Jambiani, Zanzibar, has eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a private pool and a tropical garden, and is offered at USD 2,300 per month.
Set among palm trees in a quiet, fenced compound with security, it has room for large families, groups of friends, retreats and longer stays. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and air conditioning, so the house works as well for eight separate guests as for one group.
Days centre on the garden and the pool, with sun loungers in the shade of the palms and the pool lit in colour after dark. A generator keeps the power on when the island’s supply drops, and WiFi runs throughout.
Jambiani is a long, relaxed village on Zanzibar’s south-east coast, south of Paje, known for its wide white-sand beach and the seaweed farms in its turquoise shallows. The resort is near the beach, in a peaceful setting away from the busier parts of the island.
